Working principle of dry steam humidifier

Connect the steam source and allow saturated steam to move laterally in the nozzle jacket, flowing into the curved pipe in a circular direction and entering the evaporation chamber. Due to the sudden increase in the cross-section of the evaporation chamber, the steam slows down. Coupled with the inertia effect and the obstruction of the baffle, the condensed water contained in the steam is separated and discharged through the condensed water outlet at the bottom of the evaporation chamber; The steam separated from the water enters the preheated drying chamber from the top of the separation chamber. The drying chamber is filled with stainless steel filter material to filter and separate the residual water in the steam; Open the regulating valve, the pressure inside the drying chamber decreases, the vaporization temperature decreases, and the residual moisture in the steam is heated and vaporized again, thus completing the drying treatment of saturated steam and the separation of saturated steam and water. The dried steam enters the nozzle through the regulating valve and is sprayed out from the soundproof metal mesh nozzle, achieving humidification treatment of the air.

For users who need to automatically turn off the steam humidifier after a power outage, we provide 3 sets of reference solutions

Option 1: Choose the Bonner power-off reset control box, and use the backup power supply to close the valve after the power outage.

Option 2: Mix the electric dry steam humidifier into one, that is, electric dry steam. Install one steam solenoid valve on the steam output pipe of the humidifier to automatically shut down the dry steam humidifier in case of sudden power outage.

Option 3: Choose an electric driver with a liquid level charged spring reset function, such as Siemens' product, to achieve the above functions.

For places that require strong interference capabilities, electric drivers should try to choose a type that can receive 4-20mA signals as much as possible!

■ Dry steam humidifier options

Steps:

1. Based on the humidification amount and steam pressure, check the performance parameter table to determine the appropriate spray rod diameter and spray hole diameter.

2. According to the width of the air conditioning unit or air duct, check the table to select the spray bar model.

3. Determine the left-right configuration of the dry steam humidifier based on the airflow direction of the air conditioning unit and the installation position of the humidifier tank.

4. Select the adjustment method according to the control requirements.

Attention:

The left and right judgment rules for dry steam humidification: When facing the spray nozzle of the dry steam humidifier, the humidifier body on the left side is left type; On the contrary, it is the right-hand form.

Generally, if the air conditioning unit is right-handed, a right-handed dry steam humidifier should be installed; On the contrary, a left type dry steam humidifier should be installed. Only in this way can we ensure that the sprayed dry steam flows in the opposite direction of air flow.

Selection Example

The air volume of a left type air conditioning unit is 5000m3/h, the cross-sectional dimensions are 750mm × 1000mm, the steam pressure is 0.2Mpa, and the required humidification amount of the unit is 60kg/h. It is required to adjust and control the humidification amount proportionally. Try choosing the model of dry steam humidifier.

1. According to the required humidification capacity of 60kg/h and steam source pressure of 0.2Mpa, the performance parameter table shows that the spray rod diameter of the dry steam humidifier that meets the above requirements is 20 type, and the spray hole diameter is Φ 8.

2. Based on the cross-sectional width of the air conditioning unit being 1000mm, according to the nozzle length selection table, it can be found that the value is between 890 and 1000. Therefore, the nozzle length L4=910mm should be selected.

3. Since the air conditioning unit is a left type, a left type dry steam humidifier should be selected.

4. Due to the need for proportional adjustment and control of air conditioning humidification, a proportional adjustment type dry steam humidifier (BNG) should be selected. As can be seen from the above, the model of the dry steam humidifier is BNG-20- Φ 8-L4-L.

When using an electric dry steam humidifier in air conditioning systems with high process requirements, in order to completely solve the problem of water spraying at the moment of startup caused by the split structure, and to ensure reliable shutdown of the humidifier in case of unexpected power outages or power outages, it is recommended that users choose an electric integrated dry steam humidifier with heat sinks and automatic reset function during power outages!
